Haunted House is the first game covered on Hex Crank on November 11th, 2013. It was developed by Atari in 1982 for the Atari 2600. It is one of, if not THE, first survival horror game, though it probably wasn't called "Survival Horror" back in 1982. Kole seemed to enjoy the game for what it was and talked about how survival horror has kept some of the same basic themes since its inception. Kole goes on to speculate if the protagonist is a cat. Kole beat the game.
