Watch Out for Fireballs! is a retro games club podcast created by Gary Butterfield and Kole Ross. Every week alternates between an episode about a game and listener response. Listener response episodes are called "Extrasodes." Every episode of Watch Out For Fireballs! begins with a sketch involving some aspect of the game they are covering in that episode. The skits are all done by Gary and Kole and are edited with sound effects, music and anything else that would make it more believable. They do not break character in WOFF! skits as much as in Abject Suffering.

As of August 3rd, the release of part 1 of the Final Fantasy IV episode, WOFF entered "WOFF 2.0", where there will be only one extrasode a month, while the rest of the weeks will have a game. As of WOFF 2.0, all Extrasode responses are due on the 15th of each month to make it in to the episode.
